This is a Class for our first year Interns. You will be treated by Senior Interns, with a Licensed Instructor in the class at all times. While the first year Interns view the flow of a treatment.

Heather Sosa, L.Ac., is a licensed acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner with a rich background in both emergency medicine and family practice. She attended Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and graduated in 2024. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico, which included all of her EMS training and a range of holistic medical subjects, such as holistic health coaching, homeopathy, and psychoneuroimmunology. Her years as a New Mexico paramedic and medical assistant shaped her steady, patient-centered approach to care. Heather blends the insight of Western medicine with the restorative principles of TCM to support pain, stress, fatigue, digestive imbalance, and overall vitality. She believes every patient should be treated as a whole, individual person (Mind, Body, and Spirit), and that this can be achieved through TCM.
