Acupuncture
During acupuncture treatments, tiny, hair-thin needles are used to 'part' the skin and draw energy/attention/awareness to affected areas of the body. This practice is based upon intimate knowledge of the body's energetic pathways, cultivated over thousands of years by Chinese medicine practitioners.
Auricular
Shorter appointment time for your busy days!
Treatment is only on the ears and can include: needles, ear seeds, ASP (small metal studs retained for a few days), magnets, dermal tacks, and more. Short protocols for stress, headaches, addiction of any kind, pain, and more...
Facial Acupuncture
1 hour and 20 min. Focused on Facial Acupuncture and some distal balancing points. Can be good for Post trauma (Stroke recovery), Headaches, Cosmetic effects and more.
Cupping & Guasha
Cupping helps lift and release connective and soft tissue. It increases blood flow and nutrients to the area, helping to relieve aches and pains.
Guasha is an antient friction therapy that stimulates microcirculation and breaks-up adhesions in the soft tissue.
Both of these treatments combined can give a powerful release of tension in your body. After a day of healing, you are left feeling lighter longer and looser.
Tuina
推拿 (tuī ná - too’way nah - push; grasp) is an ancient Chinese bodywork practice with roots dating back thousands of years. As a healing therapy it is often used in conjunction with acupuncture, moxibustion, and fire-cupping, using the traditional, foundation forming Chinese medical understanding of the flow of Qi through the meridians for its therapeutic orientation. Through the application of massage and manipulation techniques, tuina seeks to relieve discomfort by opening and establishing a more harmonious flow of Qi through the body’s system of channels, allowing the body to naturally heal and remain in health on its own.
Herbal Consultation
In an herbal consultation your practitioner will take your pulse, look at your tongue, discuss your health concerns, and provide you with an herbal prescription in the form of raw herbs, granules, or patent medicines depending upon patient preference.
Herbs are often seen as a complimentary way to balance the body in conjunction with acupuncture and/or tuina. They are generally taken over a designated time period to adjust the body's balance, delivering the system at a pace appropriate for healing.
